Whether automatically tracking patients within a high acuity department, locating assets facility-wide or documenting patient care in a busy emergency department, an Amelior™ workflow automation system can operate as a centralized workflow portal for a department. By integrating patient, staff and resource information from departmental and hospital systems caregivers receive the information necessary to advance patient care. Working within the application, staff can send and receive information with communication systems such as nurse call and wireless telephony so that location and event status updates can be shared between caregivers wherever they are.
Amelior Interface Gateway
The Amelior Interface Gateway engine is the point of integration between PCTS solutions and other solutions deployed throughout the hospital such as HIS systems, Lab and RAD systems, asset inventory systems and more using the industry standard HL7 protocol.
Our 4th generation .NET engine is built to handle multiple, varied communication protocols as it sends and receives various forms of formatted data. It can transform data between HL-7 and XML among other formats. A simplified single point of management promotes ease of use and automatically notifies administrators of abnormal conditions.
CCOW
PCTS tracking applications can be CCOW compliant for authentication (user context) and outbound patient context. Working within the tracking software, users have single sign-on access to other applications working within the context of their patient's care progression. This interoperability streamlines the access to key patient information for greater workflow efficiency.
RTLS Assimilation Server
A PCTS assimilation server operates as a real-time locating engine which is responsible for the integration of PCTS applications with third party locating technologies. PCTS tracking applications can interface with all leading RTLS technologies such as active RFID, infrared, ultrasound, ultra-wideband, Wi-Fi and ZigBee to provide an unsurpassed ability to match the locating technology to user needs, existing network infrastructure and budget.
